Aidan was fearless. From the moment he was born on March 4, 2003, in North Vancouver, British Columbia, he embraced life with energy, confidence, and an adventurous spirit that never left him. He spent his first 13 years in North Vancouver before moving to Victoria, eventually leaving to pursue his dream with the Canadian Armed Forces. He attended Ridgeview Elementary and West Vancouver Secondary School on the North Shore, Dunsmuir Middle School and Royal Bay Secondary School in Colwood, and then Camosun College for Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal).
As a child, Aidan was always in motion. If he wasn't at school or playing organized sports, he could be found practicing parkour on neighborhood rooftops (completely without permission), plotting adventures with his brother Wylder, or spending hours skateboarding and playing basketball with friends. Adventure seemed to call his name from an early age, and he approached life with a courage and curiosity that inspired those around him.
At 10 and 11 years old Aidan, as well as Wylder, worked as extras on the Hallmark television series When Calls the Heart. He was also a body double in the family film Russell Madness (2015), where he met Crystal, a crested capuchin monkey who quickly became one of his favorite co-stars and grooming companion.
As an accomplished athlete, Aidan excelled in nearly every sport he tried. He was competitive, strategic, and loved being part of a team. Soccer was his first passion. He quickly worked his way up to high level with the North Vancouver Football Club from U5 through U14 and later with the Juan de Fuca Soccer Club from U15 through U18. A particular highlight was meeting and playing with the Whitecaps at a soccer clinic. He was also a member of Royal Bay Secondary's Soccer Academy until graduation.
His athletic pursuits extended well beyond soccer. He played AAA baseball with Forest Hills Baseball Club, flag football with the Gordon Sturtridge League, hockey with North Shore Minor Hockey, rugby with Capilano Rugby Football Club, and was proud to be part of the first-ever rugby team at Ridgeview Elementary School.
As a teenager, Aidan developed a love for cars. By producing straight A’s one term he earned a used Chrysler 300c with a Hemi engine, the very first modification he made was to make it louder. Many evenings found him under the glow of a headlamp at the bottom of the driveway, working on his car long after dark, often until the neighbors voiced their objections. He loved understanding how things worked and took great pride in making them his own.
Aidan also had a passion for travel and adventure. He explored many parts of the world, including Mexico, Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Malta, the Netherlands, England, and Spain. He also enjoyed snowboarding some of his favorite mountains, including Mount Washington, Whistler, Grouse Mountain, and Sun Valley in Ketchum, Idaho.
Above all, Aidan will be remembered for his fearless spirit, his loyalty to his friends and family, his infectious sense of humor, and his determination to live life to the fullest. He embraced every challenge, sought out every adventure, and filled our house and lives with laughter. His memory will continue to live on in the countless stories, laughs, and adventures shared by those who loved him.
Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Seaforth Armoury, 1650 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC.
