Albert Joachim Joseph St Pierre passed away in Surrey, BC, on August 8, 2026, at the age of 71.
Predeceased by his mother, Adele; father, Joseph; and Diana, who held a special place in his life, Albert is lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Ann St Pierre; nephew Sean Rougeau and his wife, Michelle; Alyssa and Christina; niece Stephanie MacIntosh; sister-in-law Mary-Catherine; cherished friends Robert, Ron, Stephen, Donny and Stan; and many other family members and friends.
Above all else, Albert’s greatest love was Ann. Their marriage was built on love, devotion and commitment, with the life and family they created together at the heart of everything he held dear.
Ron and Diana and their children welcomed Albert into their family and gave him a place where he belonged. Their love, care and encouragement helped shape him into the incredible man he became, and he carried that kindness forward through his loyalty and generosity to others.
Loving, honourable and deeply loyal, Albert was someone family and friends could count on. He was especially generous with the automotive knowledge and skills he had acquired over a lifetime, readily helping family and friends whenever he could. He turned his passion and skill for cars into a livelihood that supported Ann and their family and continued working on them long after retirement. His most cherished project was his 1966 Mustang, in which he and his dear friend Robin spent some 20 years rebuilding – a labour of love and friendship.
Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, giving his time in support of his Catholic Church and community. He also loved dogs and shared his home with many faithful companions over the years. He deeply missed Patches after his passing. Arrow, who remains faithfully at Ann’s side, continues to be her cherished companion and a loving connection to the home and life she and Albert shared.
Albert will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, worked hard, kept his word and stood faithfully beside those he cared about.
