Alessandro (Alex) Pellichero

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alessandro (Alex) Pellichero on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, at the age of 94.

Alessandro was predeceased by his former wife, Santina Pellichero.  He is lovingly remembered by his sons Claudio (Shirley) and Daniel (Stacey), as well as his cherished grandchildren Jeffrey, Alyssa, Tye (Alexandra), Hunter, and Sage.

A proud member of the Vancouver section of the Italian Alpini Association and a long-standing veteran of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Alessandro carried his heritage, discipline, and craftsmanship throughout his life.  His appreciation for the arts was lifelong—he found joy in operas, musicals, and singing with the Alpine Choir. His artistic spirit extended to oil painting, inspired by Bob Ross.  Alessandro was also a passionate bocce player at the Italian Cultural Centre, bringing home numerous trophies over the years. His fascination with mechanical devices sparked inventive thinking, including work toward new and innovative door-lock designs.
