Alexander Douglas Palmer

Alex Palmer was born in 1947 in Guildford, England, and passed away on August 22, 2025, in Surrey, BC. He was a much-loved husband, father, friend, brother, and Grandpa.

He faithfully served his Lord and Savior, finishing his race with dedication both on the mission field and locally. Alex was a teacher, pastor, administrator, and friend to many. A retired minister, skilled mechanic, and electrician, he was known for always offering a kind word or encouragement to those around him. His missionary work took him to Africa many times, where he supported efforts to provide education for children in rural communities. He is sorely missed by all.

Alex is survived by his wife Sue, his daughter Lisa and her husband Eric, his son Matthew and his wife Emma, and his six grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Horizon Church, Surrey, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:00p.m.
