Angelina Tooth

Angelina Tooth (née Heylen) died unexpectedly and peacefully on September 28, 2025, in Burnaby, BC, at the full age of 98. She is predeceased by her son, Daniel Gordon Tooth. She will always be lovingly remembered by her children, Deborah Carolyn Heller (Wolf), David Edwin Heylen, and Maryse Lalonde; her grandchildren Raphaëlle Lalonde-Fortin and Danielle Elizabeth Heylen; and by her great-grandson Jesus Adrian Hidalgo Garcia, Jr.

Angelina had many great qualities that were treasured by us all. Her generosity of spirit extended to people of all backgrounds, her love of animals, and an open-hearted compassion to many. Though it bloomed late in life, her faith in God was a source of much strength and her comfort in the hard times. She was a master knitter and a maker of all things beautiful. Her love of all fine things and of travel gave her a breadth of experience and a joie de vivre. Her endless curiosity and love of rich and varied conversation was thankfully restored in this past year of her life. She ended her run well, embracing the life she had with amazing grace, humour, and fortitude. Carry on in full and endless joy, dear Angelina, finally free and fully embraced at last.

Memorial Service will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at New Life Community Church, 8765 Government St., Burnaby, BC.
