Antonia Rossetti

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonia Rossetti on March 1, 2026, just weeks before her 99th birthday.

Antonia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mario, and her two sons, Domenico and Francesco. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Maria (Gaetano Zuzolo), Sarah (Gerry Lepore), and Annette (Nick Bertolone). She also leaves behind a large and devoted family of 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Antonia was born in Bitritto, Bari, Italy, and was one of eight children. In 1949, she married the love of her life, Mario, and began raising her family before immigrating to Canada in 1959. She settled in Vancouver, where she continued to grow her family and build a life filled with love. Antonia cherished family gatherings, simple moments in the backyard, and sharing stories of her life. She especially loved cooking for her family, baking bread and her famous taralli, always making sure there was plenty of food and room for everyone at her table.

Antonia lived a long and happy life surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Prayers will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 6:30 pm, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 10:30 am, at St. Jude’s Parish, 3078 Renfrew Street, Vancouver, BC.
