Arnaldo Basso passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, in Burnaby at the age of 89 years.
He was predeceased by his father Attilio and mother Anna Maria. He is survived by his loving wife Rosa, children Mauro (Sandra) and Wendy (Danny); sisters Vanina (Davide) and Mirella in Italy; grandchildren Thomas, Christian (Harlowe), Anthony (Sarah) Domenic, Gianinna, and great grand children Adam and Riley.
Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 7:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, located at 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Chris Pastuszka, SDS, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice in memory of Arnaldo or to the Burnaby Hospital Foundation.
