Caterina Lazzara

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Caterina Lazzara, on December 8, 2025. Caterina at the age of 99 years leaves us. She was predeceased by her husband Nicolo Lazzara. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her sons Frank Lazzara and [Echo] and Joseph Lazzara and [Maria], her granddaughters Katherine and [Scott] and Christina and [Chris] and four grandchildren Andrew, Benjamin, Naomi and Owen.

Caterina lived the unwavering love and devotion to her family, the kindness and strength of a selfless mom. Caterina had a beautiful life, and she wished the same for her extended family and friends.

Mom’s memorial service is at Good Sheppard Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The address is 2250 150 St, Surrey, BC V4A 9J3.

11:00 AM - Mass of Christian Burial @ Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Surrey

1:00 PM - Entombment at Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery, Surrey

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation (one would just need to specify that the donation is to go to the Hogg Pavilion).
