Charlotte Krakowski

May 17, 1948 — October 26, 2025

Charlotte J. M. Krakowski, nee Kuzminski was born in Preeceville SK on May 17, 1948. She died one day after returning from Japan, despite outstanding medical interventions, on October 26, 2025 at Vancouver General Hospital. Her prayer circle was tight.

Charlotte was fiercely family oriented, and selflessly generous to her family. Her love language was hugs and food, and you were always guaranteed to be welcomed with warm scents and love. She was always there for her family, and especially loved all her grandchildren, giving selflessly of her time and care.

Charlotte, with Edwin, always created a safe home. She supported her children with devotion, caring, and kindness. Charlotte extended this to her grandchildren, as the joy of each of them was a light of love in her heart. It was her pride that she had an unfailing family commitment.

With exceptional intuitive kindness, Charlotte supported her grand-daughter Koa throughout Koa's cancer treatment. Koa trusted her grandmother implicitly. It was a beautiful thing to witness such deep, and reciprocated loving care.

In lieu of flowers, our Mother, as an ardent supporter of Ukraine, would be delighted with donations made to CNEWA (https://cnewa.org/what-we-do/stand-strong-with-ukraine/). They do great work to help re-build children's hospitals. CNEWA (Catholic Near East Welfare Association) is a registered international charity, and donations may also be made via phone (1-866-322-4441) or by mail to 223 Main Street, Box 80, Ottawa, ON, K1S 1C4.
