Connie Fontana

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Fontana on October 8th, 2025, two days before her 76th birthday.

Connie will be deeply missed by her loving family. She is survived by her siblings, Lina Dente, Stella, and Francesco (Maria). She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Carmela, and her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Francesco and Concetta Fontana, brother Domenic Fontana, and brother-in-law Carmine Dente.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Kearney Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4715 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC, on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Connie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC, on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, at 11:00 am.

Her family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude for the compassionate care and support to all the nurses and doctors at Parkview/Youville Residence.
