In Loving Memory of Conrado Trajano Ladores
It is with sadness and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Conrado “Rading” Ladores on June 14, 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the age of 90.
Born in Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, Conrado moved to Bislig at the age of 17 to begin working at Bislig Bay Lumber Co, which later became PICOP, the largest paper company in Asia at the time. Through determination, curiosity, and a commitment to learning, he taught himself the electrical trade by studying books and learning from experience. Over a career spanning more than 40 years, he rose through the ranks to become a respected electrician, known for his knowledge, work ethic, and willingness to help others.
Conrado was a man who found joy in life's simple moments. He was known for his positive spirit, warm smile, and sense of humor. He loved to laugh, remained optimistic through life's challenges, and taught those around him the value of hard work, humility, and perseverance.
Family was at the heart of Conrado's life. Following the early passing of his father, he embraced the responsibilities of being the eldest son and helped care for his younger siblings, Romy and Diosie. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Amelia, and a loving father to Mario, Nelson, and Melissa. After Amelia's passing, Conrado dedicated himself to raising his children and supporting his family with unwavering love and sacrifice.
His care extended beyond his own children. Throughout his life, he helped raise and support his grandchildren, Christian, Ian, Neil, Marinel, Veronica, and Sophia at different stages of their lives, always offering guidance, encouragement, and a steady presence.
In retirement, Conrado enjoyed his daily walks, often setting out to explore new neighborhoods, parks, and corners of the city. He enjoyed the company of others, but was equally content exploring on his own. These walks reflected his lifelong curiosity, independence, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
Conrado will be remembered for his generosity, resilience, and unwavering love for family. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched through his kindness, guidance, and example.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, to remember Conrado Ladores. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Jude's Parish: 3078 Renfrew St, Vancouver, BC V5M 3K6. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at 11:00 AM.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
