Cornelius Tony Penner

     Tony was born in Snigarofa, Russia and came to Canada when he was 17 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Tessie Evangelista. He passed away peacefully with Tessie by his side.

     Predeceased by his beloved daughter, Tracy, (d. 2015), he is also survived by his beloved sons, Bryan and Dale, all from his first marriage and his four grandchildren, Adam (wife Iona and Tony's great-grandchildren, Noor, Jenna and David from Montreal); Samantha, Olivia and Ariel, his older sister Margaret (96 years old) from Abbotsford and younger sister Lydia (89 years old) from Kelowna.

     Tony brought joy to everyone around him, always smiling and being a ray of light even on the darkest of days. One of his favourite things to say was, "Keep on Loving", summarizing his kind and loving soul and outlook on life.

     Rest in peace Tony, you will be loved and missed forever.

     Special thanks to Silvana who had become a big part of Tessie and Tony's life and to Lorna as well for both having been there from the beginning until the end of their difficult time, giving care and support.
