Danuta (Dana) Samus

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danuta “Dana” Samus on October 30, 2025, at the age of 74.

Dana was born on January 15, 1951, in Nowa Sól, Poland. Predeceased by her parents and her sister Wanda, she will be lovingly remembered by John, her sons Chris (Dawn) and Robert (Yolanta), and her cherished grandchildren Abigail, Gwendolyn, and Liya, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Dana was deeply loved by her family and will always be remembered as a kind, caring, and devoted mother whose warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in God’s loving embrace, freed from pain and reunited with her parents and sister in heaven. May her soul find eternal rest and her spirit be renewed in the grace of God.

A Funeral Service will be held on November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Parish, located in 16079 88th Avenue in Surrey.
