Edward James Campbell

Edward James Campbell passed away February 8, 2026 at the age of 67.

Edward was born in Surrey, British Columbia. In the early 1960s, his family moved to Qualicum Beach, a community that would remain closely connected to his life and memories. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, at UBC, beginning a lifelong commitment to learning in the field of insurance. Edward enjoyed a long and dedicated professional career with BCAA and ICBC.

Outside of his career, Edward found joy in gardening, patiently tending plants and creating beauty through the changing seasons. He also developed a passion for genealogy, carefully researching his family tree. One of his most meaningful adventures was a family research journey across the country to the Maritimes. He firmly reconnected with extended family in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Edward contributed to his community through volunteer work at his strata. He held the position of strata president through some challenging building improvements.

Edward will be remembered for his quiet dedication, inquisitive spirit, and appreciation for local history, nature, and family. He leaves behind cherished memories for those who knew and loved him.
