Emilienne Rita Wunderlich

Emilienne “Mimi” Rita Wunderlich, 95, of Burnaby, British Columbia, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025. Born on August 27, 1930, in Ferland, Saskatchewan.  She was the cherished daughter of Adonias and Emilienne Morin.

Mimi was beloved by all who knew her. Known for her kindness and devotion to her family, Mimi had an unwavering faith in the Lord. She held a deep devotion to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, the Little Flower. Mimi devoted her life to raising her four children and took great joy in welcoming each grandchild and great-grandchild into her heart.

She was predeceased by her parents, her thirteen brothers and sisters, her daughter Maria, and her son Paul.

Mimi leaves behind her devoted husband, Edwin Wunderlich; her sons Marc (Louise) and Vincent (Marilou); her step-children Mark (Cathy), Laura, and Gregory (Linda); and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Andrea (Derek)(Isabelle), Terra (Dimitri)(Elias and Penelope), Charity (son Kalani), Jonah (Poshin), Melody (Tyler) (son Japa Walter), Christina (Jacob), Lauren, Kelly, Ben, and Nicholas (Katrina) and their children (Jacob and Dilan). Each of them was held lovingly in Mimi’s heart.

For 25 years, Mimi served as a Real Estate Agent with Park Georgia Realty, where she was respected not only for her dedication but for her honesty, integrity, and kindness—qualities she brought into every corner of her life.

Vigil Prayers will be held on Monday, December 8 at 7:00 pm at St. Peter’s Church at  330 Royal Ave, New Westminster, BC where a Funeral Mass will be held on December 9th at 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest in St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Westminster at 1:00 pm., her final resting place of peace.

Our beloved Emilienne, Mimi, Mom, Grandmama—will be deeply missed. May God rest her soul.
