St. Michael’s Parish
Starts at 11:00 am (Pacific time)
Born in Loseto, Bari, Italy. Uncle Steve passed away on March 29, 2026, shortly after his 87th birthday.
He is survived by his devoted brothers, Domenico and Antonio (Tony), and sister-in-law Domenica (wife of the late Martino)
For decades, Uncle Steve shared a home and a lifelong bond with brother Domenico and his late sister-in-law Vincenza. He continued to live with Domenico with a bond that remained strong until the very end.
He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephew.
He is predeceased by his parents Francesco & Teresa, his brother, Martino; his sisters, Rosa, and Vittoria Fusaro, his brother-in-law, Domenico Fusaro; sister-in-laws Vincenza (Enza) & Maddalena (Lena).
Zio had a lifelong passion for the saxophone, photography, and gardening. A familiar face at local farmers markets and the casino, he was best known for his famously corny jokes which he never hesitated to share.
Funeral: Catholic Mass, April 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM, St. Michael’s Parish, followed by entombment at Ocean View Mausoleum. Refreshments to follow in White Rock.
