George Charles Cooper

George Charles Cooper was born on December 20, 1935, in Collingwood, Ontario, into a lively family of three brothers and two sisters. 

George was known to have embraced adventure in his youth by serving in the Navy, where he worked in Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii. George particularly loved Hawaii for its warm climate and beautiful landscapes, recounting the cherished camaraderie shared amongst his fellow sailors during his travels. 

In his later years, George enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, spending time on his own playing cards and engaging in games, and his friendly nature and love for connection reflected in his vibrant personality.

Although not following a specific religious belief, George firmly upheld his faith through kindness and a sense of community. His adventurous spirit and fond memories of his service in the Navy left a lasting impression on those who knew him, making his life a tapestry of warmth and friendship.

George passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, and is remembered lovingly by those who knew him.
