George Devries

It is with gratitude to God and love in our hearts that we announce the passing of George Devries, who went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on November 4, 2025, at the age of 87.

George was born on January 22, 1938 in Valkenburg, The Netherlands, one of seven children, four boys and three girls. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Diny and many family members and friends.

George and Diny shared 32 wonderful years together traveling and faithfully serving God. They were longtime members of the Free Reformed Church of Chilliwack. Their marriage was a reflection of God’s grace, love, and steadfast care.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Free Reformed Church of Chilliwack.
