Gerald Patrick Seeley

April 18, 1934 — June 13, 2025

Gerald (Gerry) Patrick Seeley, son of Chester Vance and Clara Ann Seeley (Harty), was born at St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, B.C. on April 18, 1934, and passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Melville Hospice Home, Surrey, B.C. at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his first wife Maureen Seeley (O’Hagan) and siblings Don, Evelyn, and Genieva. He is survived by his wife Dawn Seeley (Anderson, Glazier) and his children Erin (Bruce), Michael (Hitomi), Kathleen, and Patrick (Rita), his grandson Sean, his stepchildren Geoffrey, Shawn (Julie) and step-grandchildren Paige, Sabrina, and Logan, and his sibling’s Robert and Gordon.

Gerry worked in the car industry as a sales and lease manager for over 40+ years, followed by working at Morgan Creek Golf Course for over 20 years. He was a man of deep faith and was an avid marathon runner for over 35 years.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 17th at 11:00 am, at the Good Shepherd Church, 2250 – 150th Street, Surrey, B.C. V4A 9J3. Reception to follow at the church hall and Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 2:30 pm at 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, B.C. V5G 3M1.
