Giovanna Elvira Stefani

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and nonna, Giovanna Elvira Stefani, at the age of 95.

She was predeceased by her husband Luigi, of 42 years. She was survived by her 3 daughters, Italia (John), Adriana (Neil), and Nadia (Cory), Bruce Lee, and her sisters Clorinda Ferrari and Fernanda (Fernanado) Gallina; grandchildren Krista, Tyler, and Marcus, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Giovanna will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her unsurpassed kindness, and her enduring strength. She will stay forever in our hearts.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, 13th October 2026, at Kearney Burnaby Chapel, 4715 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC, from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, 14th October 2026, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver, BC.

Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum.
