It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gordon “Barry” Tough on November 8,2025. He was surrounded by family as he peacefully slipped away.
Barry faced his long illness with a smile and a joke; he reminded us everyday that hope and humour can outlast any diagnosis.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta. Barry worked for the Railroad in both Alberta and Vancouver (CNR & Via Rail) for 36 years as an electrician.
Survived by his loving wife of 64 years Joanne Tough Daughters Catherine Tough (Byron, Zachary & Maddison) Christine Tough (Bob, Lucas & Cody) Donna Moynihan (Steve, Braeden) Debbie Tough (Scott, Dana (Great Grand Children Isabella & Olivia). Predeceased by his Father Sweeton Campbell Tough, Mother Marguerite Martha Tough and Brother William Campbell Tough.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart & Stroke foundation can be made.
