In Loving Memory of Harry Joseph Demchuk 

October 27, 1932 – May 12, 2025

Harry Joseph Demchuk, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, at the age of 92.

Born in Iron Springs, Alberta, Harry will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and gentle sense of humour. His quiet strength and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Harry is survived by his loving wife of more than 66 years, Christine Demchuk; his children Andrea, Harriet (Mike), and Susan (Jack); and his beloved grandchildren Severn, Meagan, Sarah, Tessa, Michael, and Hannah. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Anna, his parents John and Annie, his brother Gordon, and his nephew Fred.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, May 30 at St. Francis de Sales Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry’s memory may be made to Saint Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver.
