Jacqueline Allen (nee Bend)

Jacquie passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 96. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ian, and her son Tim, in 2009. Jacquie is survived by her daughter Susan Ferguson, grandchildren Chris, Andrew, Ellen and Travis, son-in-law Peter Ferguson and daughter-in-law Patti Allen. The family wants to thank Dr. Karon and the wonderful staff at Columbus Residence who have cared for her, as Jacquie always cared for others, with love and compassion for the past 15 years (have a "double double" in Jacquie's memory!). Jacquie requested that there be no funeral service. Her ashes will be interred at St. Helen's Church in Vancouver, joining those of her husband Ian.
