Joseph Pascual Balcita

Joseph Balcita passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 in Abbotsford at the age of 60. He will be lovingly remembered by his family: Mark, Christian, and Digna; his mother Natividad, and his brothers Godofredo and Godfrey. 

Joseph was a driver at heart; always on the go whether it was cruising down the highway, working on his cars, spending time with his friends and family, or everything else in between. At his core, he was kind and caring, but above all, he was a fighter. Even in his hardest moments, he faced every challenge with courage and determination, and never gave up until the very end.

Prayers and Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, 4:00pm - 8:00pm, at Kearney Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster, BC V3L 3A3.
The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 1:00pm, at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 20675 87 Avenue, Langley, BC V1M 2X3. 
Burial of the cremated remains will be at Bakerview Memorial Cemetery – date and time to be determined.
