Kersey Ignatius Katrak

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kersey Ignatius (Keki) Katrak, 87.

Born in Mumbai, India, 13 December 1938, he passed away peacefully at home in Vancouver, BC, on June 26, 2026.

Kersey was predeceased by his wife, Pouroo, and by his sister Roshan (Ness) Lakdawala. Kersey is survived by his sisters, Mary (Hosi) Mody, Yasmin Shroff, and locally by his nieces Kashmira Suraliwalla and Hootoxi (Arda) Minocherhomjee. Kersey will be missed and remembered fondly by his big extended family.

Funeral Mass will be held at Guardian Angels Parish (1161 Broughton St, Vancouver, BC V6G 2B3), followed by Burial at Ocean View Burial Park.
