Louise Elaine Butler

BUTLER, Louise Elaine, Beloved Mom, Gramma (Gram Gram), GG passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026 In Langley at the age of 93. Louise was predeceased by her beloved husband Victor and son David as well as her 7 brothers and sisters. Louise will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Lori (Brian), Grandchildren Adam and Caitlin and Great Grandchildren Aria and Crew whom she adored. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Louise was born in Indian Head Sask. and moved to Chilliwack, BC when she was 4 years old and moved to Vancouver, BC as a young adult where she met her Victor. They also lived in Richmond briefly before moving to Surrey/Langley to be closer to their children, grandchildren and family.

Louise worked for Woodward’s before retiring. Upon retirement Louise found a passion for quilting and became a member of the Langley Quilter’s Guild and spent many many hours creating quilts that many of us are fortunate to have.

For the last 13 years Louise lived at Harrison Landing where she participated in almost everything and made many new friends. We are thankful to all the staff over the years who helped keep Mom comfortable and happy.

Louise will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but we will always remember her big smile, sense of humour and her kindness and generosity. Rest well sweet Mama!
