Margaret (Maggie) Flynn

April 25, 1936 — December 20, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Flynn, on December 20th, 2025, at the age of 89. Margaret passed away peacefully with her three daughters by her side in White Rock.

Margaret was born on April 25, 1936, in Montreal, Quebec, the daughter of Kathleen and Michael Connor. She married William Flynn in 1963, the couple lived in Ireland for a short period before returning to Montreal, where they spent 16 years. In 1979, they relocated their family to White Rock, British Columbia.

Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kindness and loving spirit.

As a longtime dental receptionist Margaret was known for her warmth and dedication to both her patients and coworkers. Outside of work, she had a passion for creating beautiful homemade cards, always putting thought and care into each one. Margaret was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and could often be found cheering them on with great enthusiasm. She especially enjoyed meeting friends at local coffee shops, where conversation and companionship were always shared over a cup of coffee. She will be remembered for her deep faith, helping others and her genuine care for family and friends.

She is survived by her children Cathy, Noreen (John) and Colleen (Chris); her grandchildren Meaghan (Clark), Kara (Richard), Liam (Anita), Caelynn, Aedan and Declan; and her great grandchildren Beckett, Myla, Beau and her sister Eileen. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and devotion.

She was predeceased by her husband, William, son-in-law Rod and her four siblings Patrick, Brendan, Dennis and Ann.

Though we say goodbye to our cherished Mom, her love will forever illuminate our lives. We grieve her loss deeply but find comfort in knowing she is with her beloved William.
