Marguerite (Greta) Frances Bohan

Marguerite (Greta) Bohan passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025 in White Rock, BC at the age of 89. She will be sadly missed by her husband Harold, children Paula (James), Colleen and Harry (Cynthia), grandchildren Hayley, Stephanie (Kirk) and Ellie, and great-grandson, Kilian. Greta was born in New Brunswick, one of seven siblings: Sheila (Earl), Joe (Helen), Anna (Dominic), Robert (Liz), Elaine (Jim) and Jackie (Peggy).

Greta took her teachers training in Fredericton, NB and furthered her education with summer school in Philadelphia and New Brunswick. She taught school in three provinces before changing career to become a receptionist. In both careers her warm personality and natural ability to connect with people made her a beloved presence. Greta’s kindness and genuine care for others were evident in every chapter of her life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at The Evangelist Chapel, Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery 15694 32 Ave, Surrey, BC.

Interment to follow at Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery, Barnaby River, NB at a later date.
