Maria Maddalena Camillo

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Maddalena Camillo.

Maria, 91, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 16, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in France on July 5, 1934, and lived much of her life in Bavaria (Nervesa della Battaglia), Treviso, Italy and in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Maria was predeceased by her husband, Ugo Camillo, and is survived by her son Franco (Mimi), daughter Lorena, and grandchildren Amanda and Joseph.

The Mass of Christian Burial, followed by a short reception, will be held on Friday, June 26th, 2026 at St. Michael’s Parish, 9387 Holmes Street, Burnaby, BC, V3N 4C3 at 11:00am. Entombment will take place at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC, V5J 1A4 at 2:15pm.
