Mom worked hard her entire life, as a mother, a home health professional, caring for her own mother and then for two church parishes in Surrey British Columbia and Tangier Nova Scotia. She passed that strong work ethic on to her children along with strength in times of adversity and some stubbornness thrown in as well. She fought three journeys of cancer with this same strength, determination and dignity.
She was a devout Associate member of the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine for over 10 years.Mom’s faith was strong, her compassion for others was endless. She was kind to everyone and showed that kindness daily.
The family would like to thank the Langley Hospice Residence for providing our Mom with such compassionate, wonderful care the last several weeks of her life, for this we are eternally grateful.
