Mel dedicated his life to the practice and teaching of Cardiology. He loved his work. And yet he also found joy in the arts, world travel, sports, and life’s simple pleasures. His capacity for imagination was perhaps his finest quality. It not only enhanced his penchant for fun, but also his desire to find solutions for his patients, his friends and his family. He was caring to so many.
His passions were wide-ranging. Among them was deep respect for this planet, admiration for excellence of all kinds, and enduring love for those he held dear. Survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandson. Sorely missed by his wife, Joan.
No service by request. Flowers gratefully declined.
