After fighting a courageous battle, our dear Miles left us peacefully but much too soon at the age of 61. He was happy to have reached his 12-12-61 “Platinum” Birthday.
Miles was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Cecilia and brother-in-law Greg. He is survived by his siblings, Dennis (Bonnie), Agatha (Cliff), Wanda (Rick), Brenda, Lisa, Fay (Earl), Judy, Alan (Christie), Tina; his nieces and nephews Keith (Jacyne), Julie, Joshua (Melanie), Shane, Justin, (Gillian), Dylan (Lauren), Cory (Xue), Sheena, Kyle (Jaslyn), Blake (Rima), Anita, Faith, John, Vincent, Mark, Luke; and his great nieces and nephews, Skylar, Noah, Amelia, Sophia, Landon and Raiden.
Miles will be remembered for his love and devotion to his parents. He enjoyed talking to people one-on-one and valued his conversations with everyone he knew or would meet. He cherished the friendships he built. He was a gentle, caring, kind, thoughtful, generous, and trustworthy soul who will be forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed by all.
Prayers will be said Thursday, March 16 at 7:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Church, 2881 Main Street, Vancouver, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 17 at 11:00 am (10:00 am viewing). Entombment to follow 2:30 pm at the Gardens of Gethsemani 15694 32 Ave, Surrey, BC.
