Paxa was born in Bulawayo, Rhodesia / Zimbabwe, and laid to rest in North Vancouver, Canada. Paxa will be remembered as a devoted wife to Chris Baddeley for 61 years, a loving mother to her four children, and a proud grandmother to her seven grandchildren. She was also blessed with a deep and abiding faith from a young age. For many years, she attended daily Mass, and throughout her life, she volunteered and participated wholeheartedly in the parishes she belonged to. Her faith was not only central to her own life but was a gift she lovingly passed on to her children and grandchildren.
As Chris Weston shared in his message: “While her passing has brought relief from her suffering, there is no doubt that it is a great loss for all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed! I will always remember her as one of the most empathetic and kind people that I have had the privilege to know. You, the family, and those who knew your mom are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. With lots of love, Chris.”
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Daily TV Mass or Faith For Daily Living, two organizations dear to Paxa’s heart. QR codes are provided for your convenience.
