Richard Moore passed away peacefully on December 22nd, 2025, at the age of 66. He is predeceased by his parents Allan and Judith Moore. Richard is survived by his wife Dana, his daughter Alexandra, his sons Dominic, Michael, Anthony, and Nicholas, grandson Matthew, and granddaughter Addison. He is also survived by his brothers David and Garry, sisters, Suzanne and Donna, nephew Spencer, and nieces Tosha, Amanda, and Nia. Richard was born in Montreal, Quebec on Dec. 5th, 1959. When he was about five years old, the family moved back to Jamaica. There he graduated from Campion College high school in Kingston and went on to obtain a Mechanical Engineering degree at McGill University in Montreal. He spent most of his working career in the Hazardous Waste Management field.
Richard was a devout Catholic and volunteered much of his time to the church. He was a member of the Third Order of the SSPX, the Stephen’s Guild, and the Legion of Mary. He was an altar server at many Masses, often led the Rosary at the Church and helped prepare children for their First Holy Communion. He was also dedicated to Pro- Life work. Richard liked walking, hiking, horseback riding, and spending time with his family. He was generous, humble and accommodating to all. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Prayers and viewing will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8th at 7pm at Christ the King Church, 22630 48th Ave., Langley. The Traditional Roman Requiem Mass will be at 11am on Friday, Jan. 9th. Interment will be at the Gardens of Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery at 1pm.
