Rosa De Angelis

It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosina (Rosa) De Angelis (nee Cioffi) while in her beloved home in Vancouver, Canada, on November 1, 2026.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vincenzo, her mother Raffaela Crescenzo, her father Livio, her sister Antonietta, and her brother Domenico.

She will be missed dearly by her daughter, Gina, her son-in-law, Angelo Barigello, her granddaughters, Anna and Rosa, and her great-grandchildren, Tommaso, Atiana, Cristiano, Tessa, and Trinity. Her Sisters: Susan (Vincenzo) and Maria (Enzo); her nephews: Peter (Patricia), Tony (Jessica), Livio (Carmen), Joe (Theresa), and her niece Rosalba (John) and her many great-nieces and nephews, in Canada, New York, and Italy.

April 10, 1935, brought Rosa into this world. She was a hard worker during the entirety of her life. From being a vendor in Italy, moving from town to town, to working in Vancouver at White Spot Laundry for over 25 years. It did not stop there. She worked hard at home taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, day and night. Anyone who walked through her doors was met with love and a full meal. She touched numerous lives with her hard work and dedication.

Viewing will be held at Kearney Burnaby Chapel, 4715 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC, on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 6:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 South Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC.  Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park.

She will always be remembered with love.
