Rosario Ana (Rosana) Ruiz

Rosario Ana (Rosana) Ruiz passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026 in Vancouver at the age of 60. She is survived by husband Ric, son Marty, daughters Ariana and Ysabella, daughter-in-law Maria, and grandkids Ayla and Bella. 

Rosana was a former parish secretary at Precious Blood Parish, Surrey BC and was very active with various religious programs mainly involving the younger generation including kids, youth, and young adults. She will always be remembered for her vibrant character, joyous spirit, and unwavering faith. 

Rosana will be greatly missed by family, relatives, friends and so many who were touched by her life.

Viewing and vigil prayers will be offered on Feb 26, Thursday from around 6:30 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Surrey. Her Funeral Mass is scheduled on Feb 27, Friday at 11:00 am, also at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Surrey. Rosana’s remains will be cremated after her funeral mass, but her inurnment at the Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery in South Surrey will be scheduled at a later date.
