Sandra Anne Christine Venn

Sandra Anne Christine Venn, age 89, passed away October 16th, 2026, at Carelife Fleetwood in Surrey, BC.

Sandra Anne Christine Venn was born on July 4, 1937, to Alexander and Josephine Bain in Glasgow, Scotland.

Sandra immigrated to Canada in 1950 with her mother and father and 3 sisters. She was married in 1959 to Victor Frances Venn.

Despite suffering from a lifetime of illness, she had a deep faith in Christ. She was always actively volunteering in her community and in her church, which included going on a few mission trips. She went back to school in 1981 and received her GED and completed many other courses including Computer Programming and Bookkeeping / Accounting which she got top grades on. She enjoyed playing Skip Bo and Uno with the grandchildren and refused to lose.

She is survived by her 5 children; Gladys, Alexander (Lisa), Barbara, Ernie (Cindy), Lillian Reason (Fred) and many grandchildren. Sandra is also survived by her sister Veda Dearborn and predeceased by her older sister Hilary Mussel (nickname Jay).

Sandra, (Mom), has now gone on to be with Christ and is suffering no more.
