Sebastian Romero-Wong

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Sebastian G. Romero-Wong on October 25, 2025, at the age of 23.

Sebastian faced his battle with cancer with hope, strength, tremendous courage and determination. He was known as a kind soul, with a big smile; a great friend who always brought laughter to the room. His presence in our family was too large to describe with just words.

He loved soccer, cooking and our family pets. He had big dreams and talked about his university life at UBC with much fondness. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who all loved him so much and will carry his memory forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 7 at Kearney Funeral Services, 450 West 2nd Ave, Vancouver, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. During this time, you are welcomed to share memories and stories of Sebastian.

If you are driving, please find street parking on Yukon St, West 5th St and West 6th street.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation in Sebastian’s memory are gratefully appreciated.
