Ser Ying Wou

Ser Ying (Sung) Wou passed away at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. on March 13, 2026 at the age of 90. Born in Zhongshan,
Guangdong, China in 1936, she immigrated to Canada in 1957. For many years she and her husband Tip were the proprietors of Columbia Produce in Sapperton, New Westminster. After the store years, she spent her retirement looking after her grandchildren, cooking, enjoying long walks in and around her neighborhood, visiting with friends and travelling. 

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Tip Yow Wou, survived by her sons Wayne (Diana) and Tim (Vivian); grandchildren, Darren (Angela),
Lauren (Cameron), Kieren, Jaime and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Alex and Hannah; brother-in-law Chuck Wou (Jennifer); sister Lucy (Gary) and
numerous nephews and nieces. A service will be held on April 17, 2026 at 10:00AM at Connaught Heights Pentecostal Assembly, 2201 8th Avenue in New Westminster.
