Jan 16, 1948 — Jun 28, 2026

Mrs. Ho Sok Kuen Yuen was born on January 16, 1948, in Shunde, Guangdong Province, China. At a young age, she moved with her parents to Macau, where she grew up as the second eldest of eight siblings.

In her early twenties, she met the love of her life, Mr. Milton Yuen, in Belize, Central America. Together, they began their journey by moving to Montreal, Quebec, where they started building their future before eventually settling in Vancouver, British Columbia, which they proudly called home for many years.

Together they were blessed with a son, Edward, and a daughter, Janet (and her husband Christopher), and later welcomed two cherished grandsons, Connor and Chase. Family was always at the heart of Mrs. Yuen's life. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her husband, children, and grandchildren, caring for them with unwavering love, patience, and selflessness. No matter the challenges she faced, she never complained, choosing instead to carry life's responsibilities with quiet grace, resilience, and strength.

Beyond her devotion to her family, Mrs. Yuen found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved singing karaoke and dancing, and her cheerful spirit and enthusiasm brought smiles to those around her. Whether celebrating with family or spending time with friends, she treasured every opportunity to laugh, sing, and create happy memories together.

Mrs. Yuen was known for her gentle spirit, kindness, and generosity. She treated everyone with warmth, sincerity, and compassion, earning the love and respect of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her quiet strength, humility, and unwavering dedication left a lasting impression on everyone whose lives she touched. Through her tireless hard work, unconditional love, and steadfast devotion to her family, she set an enduring example of compassion, perseverance, and selflessness.

After courageously facing illness, Mrs. Yuen passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, at Vancouver General Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Although her passing leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts, the love she gave, the values she lived by, and the memories she created will remain with us always. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.

A beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and dear friend, Mrs. Yuen leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories and a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is no longer by our side, her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and quiet strength will continue to guide and comfort us every day.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

May she rest in eternal peace.
