Thomas Leo Comesotti

Our dad, Leo Comesotti, died peacefully in Vancouver, on September 16th, 2025. Leo was born on June 13, 1937, in Rossland, BC, a town he loved. He studied Commerce at UBC, where he met his beloved wife Jeanne. A university man to the core, Leo put a high value on the world of ideas and remained an avid learner all his life. He spent his professional life in the computer world, where he is remembered as an innovator, a good friend and a generous mentor. He was a pilot and loved all things aviation, and the pilot's way of always looking up, looking forward and keeping an eye on the horizon was characteristic of our dad. Leo laughed often and was an unfailing optimist; he was a man of principle who committed deeply in all things, and he had a long and richly rewarding life. Leo will be deeply missed by his family and by all who knew him.

A celebration mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 4925 Cambie St. Vancouver, on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11 am. All are welcome.
