Thomas Wayne Hobbis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Wayne Hobbis on June 26, 2026 at the age of 75.

Wayne was a well-known and respected member of the cycling community, dedicating much of his career to doing what he loved. Through his many years at Caps Bicycle Shop and Caps South Shore Cycles, he shared his passion for cycling with countless customers and friends, building lasting relationships and leaving a meaningful impact on the local biking community.

Above all else, Wayne was a devoted husband, father, grandfather. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa, his brother Bill and his children: Dave, Tim, Beth, Toni, and Taya.

He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren , all of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He will also be deepyly missed by extended family and friends.

Wayne will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched, both on and off the bike. 

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. Wayne will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
