Yukimasa Kishimoto

Yukimasa Kishimoto passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, in Surrey, British Columbia, with family members by his side.

Yukimasa devoted 35 years of distinguished service to the United Nations Secretariat, working extensively in peacekeeping operations around the world. Throughout his career, he held several senior administrative and operational roles, including Field Service Officer (FSO), Chief Transport Officer (CTO), and, in his final assignment prior to retirement, Senior Administrative Officer (SAO) for the Northern Region of Mozambique.

His international service included missions in Pakistan, Israel, Egypt, Syria, Somalia, and Mozambique. Yukimasa’s work reflected a lifelong commitment to international cooperation, service, and peace.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, his sons, and his grandchildren.

A private service will be held.
