Yvonne Laurette Marie Lemieux

Yvonne Laurette Marie Lemiuex, 63, of New Westminster BC, passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2025, at St. Michaels Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born at St Mary’s Hospital on April 12, 1962, Yvonne was one of nine children. She was the beloved daughter of Mush and Laurette Lemieux and a devoted partner to Fred Withers for a number of years. Yvonne is survived by her loving sons: Shawn (Shana) and Ryan (Courtney) and also her grandchildren: Sahvon, Syah, Saharah, Emyersn, Brooklyn, and Lachlyn which she loved beyond measure.

Yvonne was known for her delicious cooking, her sense of humour, her generosity, and her strength. She found the most joy in spending time with her grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at Kearney’s Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster, BC.

A celebration of Yvonne’s life will follow the service at 1:00 p.m. at 112 East Durham Street, New Westminster BC, V3L 4H7. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Michael’s Hospice in her memory.
