In memory of Zinnia, whose kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of so many.
Zinnia lived life with warmth, compassion, and an unwavering willingness to help others. Whether she was supporting friends, family, colleagues, or those she met throughout her career, she made everyone feel valued and cared for. Her generous heart, infectious smile, and selfless nature left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Doug, and her two cherished sons, Parker and Zack, who were her greatest pride and joy. Her sisters April, Valerie, Janice, and brother John will miss her incredibly. She was predeceased by both her parents.
Zinnia was born in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada with her family when she was 12. She loved living in Richmond where she spent most of her life. She worked as a teen at McDonalds where she met Doug and made many memories. After graduating from UBC she continued her career with TD Canada Trust. She worked for over 30 years at the bank in many positions and locations. She especially enjoyed mentoring her staff.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider making a donation to BC Cancer Society in Zinnia's memory. Your generosity will help support cancer research and patient care, creating hope for others while honouring the incredible legacy of a woman who gave so much to those around her.
Thank you for helping us celebrate Zinnia's life and keep her spirit of kindness alive.
